How to Show Hidden Files in File Manager under Capnel

The file manager is an important tool of Cpanel/Plesk. Many people feel more comfortable to work directly on Hosting dashboard. But problem arises when files are not visible under file manager. I found a very simple way to make hidden files visible on your file manager, lets have a look.

Steps to view hidden files in File Manager

1) Login to your hosting account.

2) Click on ‘File Manager’ under your dashboard

3) It will open a new tab in your browser, let it open.

4) Now, Cp file manager will open.

5) Click on ‘Settings’ located on top Right Hand Side of the window

6) A pop-up window will open, click on radio button “Show Hidden Files (dotfiles):

6) Click on Save button

7) Now, click on ‘Reload’ link, it will show .htaccess and other hidden files.
